I just recently found out I have celiacs disease and I am in the process of changing all my skin care and body care line. I have a friend that sells Arbonne and was planning on buying whatever I wanted without the worry about what I am putting on or in my body.I am so glad I researched this more and will have to wait on purchasing these products until I hear and see otherwise. The list does list things that contain Gluten, still as Gluten Free.

I'm a consultant too and there are some serious labeling issues. For now, be very careful. They have several things in here that are on the list as an avoid. They still have oat in plenty of the products. I did not realize Vitamin E could be grain derived. Thank you!

I think that might be why I'm getting sick again. The foundation contains a few suspect ingredients, etc. Oat is in the baby care products, the liquid foundation, the FC5 body mositure. Malt Diatase is in the vitamins. Wheat is in the original RE9 night cream and body cream. HOWEVER, they only say these are FORMULATED without Gluten, they make NO claims on their labeling they are gluten free and in fact, the product database says they are manufactured on machinery that has had wheat.

Thanks!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2872111684228787995.post-31754013787460772812010-08-02T18:34:14.335-05:002010-08-02T18:34:14.335-05:00I am an Arbonne consultant and I am very involved ...I am an Arbonne consultant and I am very involved with the National Celiac Sprue Association as well as many Celiac and Gluten Free support groups. Arbonne is welcomed with open arms in the Celiac community. Arbonne has revamped their entire skincare and cosmetic line and there is very little that is not Gluten Free. I have received confirmation from Arbonne that the source of the Vitamin E used in the new products comes from soy. What I especially love about Arbonne is that they provide the ingredient list for every product. I can say from talking to the masses at these conventions that there are many cosmetic companies that will not provide the ingredient list.Marianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01825464925225612075noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2872111684228787995.post-79306784075611753212010-05-13T09:21:59.701-05:002010-05-13T09:21:59.701-05:00Melissa

I just had a blood test for Celiac, a diease in which the body is not able to tolerate gluten. If I have Celiac, I will be interested in finding gluten free products, and some of the Arbonne products will be out of the question for me.

I'm not sure why the person who wrote on the
25th is so defensive. If someone has Celiac, it is far more than an allergy. In people with Celiac, gluten actually destroys the villi (sp?) in the intestines. The only treatment for Celiac is complete avoidance of gluten. Those who have been diagnosed with Celiac need to check labels and look into possibe cross contamination. For someone with Celiac, it is not just a health kick or immaturity that drives them to scrutinize labels.

My question is, what is the concern with the source of vitamin E? Is the concern that it may come from a grain that has gluten? I'm just learning about avoiding gluten.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2872111684228787995.post-26972745900762131022009-09-25T00:11:39.853-05:002009-09-25T00:11:39.853-05:00I can't believe all this negative response! Y...I can't believe all this negative response! You find a product out there that does any better with no vitamin E, gluten, parabens etc. Do you know what's in the products out there from Biotherm, Oil of Olay, Cover girl, Aveda and the list goes on. Do you also know what they get away with and what they don't tell the public! It would shock you. So grow up and state facts and do your research. I'd like to see something positive written on these sights for a change. Arbonne has worked for many people including those who have had some serious skin conditions due to the stress, polution, toxins we are feeding and putting on our bodies by all these other cosmetics companies out there. Why do you think you have allegins in the first place. So take a look at yourselves, and start thinking positively, the world would be in a better place. Grow up!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2872111684228787995.post-39114471301763264842009-09-07T19:37:37.714-05:002009-09-07T19:37:37.714-05:00I'm glad someone mentioned already about the v...I'm glad someone mentioned already about the vitamin E! cuz it is NOT gluten-free in their products.
I was a Arbonne Consultant & was excited to learn their products were gluten-free. How great right? I suppose it was only in the sense that I was able to try several of their products and can safely say ARBONNE DOES NOT OFFER GLUTEN-FREE PRODUCTS!!!! cross-contamination is a huge problem - I was flat out told that they didn't care, that it was up to the consumer to worry about that & if they were concerned about it then they would never find anything! seriously! and when i asked about the vitamin E and the wheat protein I was told that wheat is not related to gluten... crazy!
since then, I am no longer a consultant for Arbonne - I was hugely disappointed in their customer service & refused to be a part of it.
Please, if you have a problem with gluten in your cosmetics, don't try Arbonne!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2872111684228787995.post-10344738683553229592009-06-15T00:03:28.408-05:002009-06-15T00:03:28.408-05:00Anonymous -

I know that vitamin E can come from so many sources, and it's always wise to check.

Confusing about the wheat protein thing in the shampoo! I'm not sure what you could say to a person to convince them it's gluten free. I think someone needs to check their ingredients or provide one heck of a non-contamination statement about how that even makes sense! Thanks for your comments, and update me if you get any information.Erikahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14405443629309091882noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2872111684228787995.post-6048541787362417952009-06-14T23:36:33.180-05:002009-06-14T23:36:33.180-05:00I just got an Arbonne catalog and was disappointed...I just got an Arbonne catalog and was disappointed to see that all of the SeaSource products (on the Gluten free list) have vitamin E in them. I plan on calling the company to find out whether it knows the source. In addition, the FC5 shampoo says right in the catalog that it contains "wheat protein" so how can that be gluten free!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
