I've worked on and off as a make-up artist and Smashbox is a great line!! Fabulous colors, primers that work. You name it. But beware, not all products are GF. Some of their mascaras contain gluten along with some of their powders. As with everything read the ingredients.
Other higher end lines I've had luck with are NARS and LORAC. NARS recently reformulated their foundation and there is extensive use of Vitamin E - which can be wheat derived. I found I reacted to the new formula.
